It had a more ergonomic grip yet still uses the same mags. I would say the p30 is the advancement of that gun, but falls in a more "common" space size wise between the USPc and USP. I shoot my USP tactical and USP sd better than my p30, but I shoot my vp9 quicker than both of the others.
